My name is Melissa. I currently reside in Dallas, TX. I’ve lived here in the DFW area all my life. My parents moved to Texas from Michigan a few years before I was born. Most of my relatives are still in MI. My great-grandparents came to MI from Denmark. I recently got the chance to visit Denmark, in addition to Germany – and would love to go back again.

I’m an amateur radio operator, although I’m not active these days as I used to be. I have two UHF repeaters in the DFW area. One of them is now on echolink.
Other interests include (but not limited to): computers, electronics, guns, hunting down pirate FM broadcast stations.

I have two cats: Princess (the calico) and Rascal (black and white shorthair). I’m crazy about all kinds of animals – and if I had any less self control, I’d have an entire zoo!

I’m a broadcast engineer and I’ve worked in both TV and radio. Currently I’m doing TV and loving it.
